hi there. why is this here? well, as is common with songwriters, sometimes I get thoughts. sometimes I feel the need put these thoughts into words, but not necessarily songs, or screenplays, or facebook posts. I won't commit to any sort of regularity or theme for this content; rather, I'm creating this as a space where I can formulate thoughts into words and leave them here for anyone who chooses to read them. this will allow readers to gain more insight into my personality and other aspects of my life beyond my music.

point is, I'm a multi-dimensional human, and I'm fascinated by a lot of things including and besides music, and here is a platform where I can contemplate these things out loud, or just describe funny moments happening in my life. I can let go of the pressure to find the "perfect words" and learn to just write.
I also will likely keep these very short, because why make anything longer than it needs to be? (which is also my philosophy when it comes to commercial funk music. keep it short & sweet!)
all I'm going to say to end this post is how thrilled I am to finally be crafting this website. when I was a kid I loved designing websites, first with crayons and then with HTML. young Jenni is jumping for joy (alliteration?) at finally having her own presence online that she can design exactly how she wants. this site is definitely going to evolve over time, and you can bet I'm leaving easter eggs and secret links all over. also, if you see anything colorful, it probably was designed in coordination with my synesthesia.
