On October 14th, 2017, Momentum was released. I couldn’t have created this album without the contributions of the 40 other musicians, arrangers, producers, engineers, and assistants involved with this massive project.
Momentum marks a turning point in my musical development. As my first experience arranging my music for a full rhythm section and horns, I was able to inch closer to finding my sound. Lyrically, I learned to write more honestly, documenting more personal aspects of my life such as the decay of a relationship and the fear of growing apart from close friends.
